Why we build, and why we stay rooted

Nehemiah didn't rebuild Jerusalem's walls with a crowd of spectators — he built with people who picked up a trowel in one hand and stayed ready in the other. That's the spirit behind this camp. Four days set apart to lay something down in you that won't shift when the season changes.

A wall without a foundation falls the first time it's tested. So before we talk about building, we're talking about roots — the quiet, unseen work of staying planted in the Word, in prayer, and in a community that will hold you accountable long after November ends.

Dayspring Seraphic Church has run Camp Nehemiah as an annual gathering for spiritual construction — a few days each year to stop, rebuild, and go again stronger.

Pastor Sam Makanju

Lead Pastor & Conference Host

Lead Pastor of Dayspring Seraphic Church and president of Sam Makanju Apostolic Revival and Teaching Ministry.

He also serves as provost of Anatole Bible and Ministry Training School, and teaches that the local assembly is where every believer should be nurtured, equipped, and sent out — committed to restoring an apostolic pattern to church life.

Prophet Abraham Adebayo

Guest Minister

Called and ordained a prophet, he leads Grace for All Men International Ministry in Erin-Ile and convenes the 72-hour intercessory prayer for revival within the C&S.

Though a minister within the C&S church, Prophet Abraham ministers freely for the edification of the wider body of Christ.

Pastor (Mrs) Tife Makanju

Co-Host

Serves alongside Pastor Sam Makanju in the pastoral oversight of Dayspring Seraphic Church, with a heart for discipleship and prayer.
